Two converstaions in the last week have made me sad.

The first was a statement that someone couldn't go to a church because they were a sinner!

The second was someone who has connections with a church as an outside contractor and told me the story of someone who had worked hard for the church for many years but was then, as they put it, 'hounded out for some sexual sin' - what kind of church does that they asked me?

Both of these folk now have a very dim of the church - they certainly don't think that grace, mercy or love exist in the church

Seems we have something wrong in our PR!
