Chronology
I had an advert today in my paper for a 'Read the Bible' in a year publication. The new take on this one is that this one is done 'in the order the events happened'
I am intrigued to see how on earth they do that, with the prophets particularly
But how on earth will they date Jonah and Job?

Putting a tentative timeline's not a great problem, its just all the assumptions you have to make in doing so.
How do you reflect:
The fact that books were edited - so when did Job happen?
That some, Jonah for example, may not refer to actual events.
And then there is the problem of Isaiah; when does Isaiah happen and does it happen in 1, 2 or 3 bits?
Sorry about my error with Craig's blog. I've corrected it now

and when did the psalms happen and what about the bits that haven't yet happened - will they leave them out?

And what about the gospel stories - will they leap from one chapter of Luke to another of Matthew and back again?
