I currently live in the Midlands, though I am a London girl really (despite being born abroad). I moved here in 2005 when I became a minister. I live and work in a multi-faith area. Its exciting, challenging and stimulating and the curry is great! I have been married for nearly 30 years - we have three children and one grandchild
I love thinking and talking about theology, spirituality and even occasionally writing about it when time permits. I love the sea, the theatre, music, and reading. I am fascinated by Emerging Church though I have little experience of it
The photo is one of a series by David Nash that traces the path of a boulder over time as it moves down a river. It spoke powerfully to me when I first was introduced to it and individual photos continue to come into focus at different times in my life and speaks to me of my situation and of God's involvement in the journey. This one speaks of all the new, exciting but also sometimes almost overwhelming experiences I have had in starting ministry and moving far from home, family and friends. Yet God has called me here and continues to anchor me firmly despites things that threaten to dislodge me. Time will come to move on down stream to a new place but the time is not yet.
